Championing Community Spirit

At Sagous, we believe in the power of community and connections that go beyond geographic and cultural lines. By supporting and empowering the 20th Senior National South Zone Softball Championship and its winners, we achieved a significant victory. Hosted by the Tamil Nadu Softball Association, the event allowed us to forge new relationships and celebrate the spirit of the athletes.

The championship occurred from April 13th to 14th, 2024, at St. John’s Matric Higher Secondary School in Salem, Tamil Nadu, uniting teams from seven states—Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry, and Goa. This gathering was a showcase of diversity and enthusiasm for softball.

We expected the participation of over 300 skilled athletes, both men and women, who demonstrated their abilities on the field. The event was attended by high-ranking officials and members of the Softball Association of India.

Softball is a sport that emphasizes teamwork, an essential skill in both the athletic and business realms. Through our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, our goal was to promote teamwork and unity by supporting a championship and a striving team that values these principles. The sport aligns perfectly with our mission to encourage collaboration towards common goals.
